Privacy, in plain words

What we collect

Your name, email and password (stored only as a strong hash); the résumés you upload and the text we extract from them; jobs you shortlist and applications you track; and the date you confirmed you're 18 or older and read this notice.

How we use it

To match you with jobs, tailor résumés and track applications. To do that, résumé text is processed by our AI provider, Anthropic (United States), which does not train on it by default. Files are scanned for malware on our own servers.

We never sell your data and never show your résumé to anyone but you.

Where it's processed

Our servers (Railway, United States), our AI provider (Anthropic, United States) and our email provider (Resend, United States). If you live outside the US, your data is transferred there.

How long we keep it

• Until you delete it — or after 24 months without signing in, when we delete your account (we email you 30 days before).
• Files that fail the malware scan or can't be read are deleted immediately.
• Deleting a résumé deletes the information read from it and everything made with it (fit reports, tailored résumés, interview prep, application help, Find results), and removes it from your profile history.
• Usage-limit records — that you uploaded or re-read a résumé or asked for a check, and when, never any résumé content — are kept for up to 40 days, even after you delete the résumé, so limits can't be reset by deleting and re-uploading.
• AI cost records — which feature and model, how many tokens, what it cost; never prompts, résumé text or results — are kept for accounting. Deleting your account removes their link to you.
• Interview prep you email yourself is a copy outside Jobleep: deleting it here doesn't remove it from your inbox, and our email provider keeps its own delivery records under its own policy.
• Backups expire within about 3 months. We can't remove deleted data from them earlier, so it can linger there until then.

Your rights

From your dashboard you can download all your data (a structured JSON file), download or delete any résumé, and delete your account and everything in it.
